Jordan Sprinkle plays shortstop in the Chicago White Sox Organization. He played college baseball for UCSB and was a USA Baseball alumnus before being drafted by the White Sox in the 2022 MLB Draft. Sprinkle began his freshman year at a designated hitter but quickly earned the everyday job at shortstop, finishing the 2021 season slashing an impressive .353/.402/.536. He also stole 26 bases and launched 7 home runs. Sprinkle returns for his sophomore season firmly in command of the diamond as the Gaucho's starting shortstop, and will look to build on his impressive freshman season. Originally from Rancho Mirage, California, Sprinkle starred at Palm Desert High School for Coach Darol Salazar.
