Kevin Sumlin

Kevin Sumlin, a three-time national Coach of the Year finalist, was named Arizona’s 32nd head coach on Jan. 14, 2018. He was formally introduced at a press conference on Jan. 16. Sumlin came to Arizona after serving as the head football coach at Texas A&M University for the past six seasons (2012-17), compiling a 51-26 record including three bowl victories. He also served as the head coach at the University of Houston for four seasons (2008-11), amassing a 35-17 record. In his 10 seasons as a head coach prior to Arizona, Sumlin compiled an 86-43 record and his teams played in bowl games in nine of those seasons.
