Khalid Thomas was a basketball player at Portland State University majoring in Social Science. Khalid is currently pursuing a professional basketball career in any way possible. He averaged 11.2 points and 5 rebounds per game in the 2020-21 season for the Vikings after transferring from Arizona State University. Thomas’ accolades include 2017 Honorable All-Oregon, 2018 #2 JUCO Basketball Player, 2019 Leader in 3PT% at Arizona State University, and 2nd on Portland State in Scoring in 2020. During the 2021-2022 season Khalid was Named Honorable Mention All-Big Sky Conference and All-Big Sky Tournament. He started every game as a Viking and averaged 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.9 steals. He led the team in scoring 10 times and rebounds 13 times. He recorded four double-doubles and ranked second in steals and 12th in rebounding and 16th in scoring in the Big Sky.
