Kyion Grayes is a wide receiver for the University of California Berkeley football team. Originally from Chandler, Arizona, Grayes was a highly touted 4-star recruit out of high school and committed to the Buckeyes in February of 2021. Grayes is a prime example of grit and perseverance. Right before beginning his senior season at Chandler High School, he suffered a gruesome elbow injury and coaches were unsure if he would be able to see the field at all that season. However, Grayes was able to defy odds and play in the final 5 games of his high school career, tallying 4 touchdown catches and catching 21 passes for 388 yards in those games.
Grayes played two seasons for the buckeyes before transferring to the Cal Golden Bears for the 2024 season.
