Marcus Smart is an NBA basketball player for the Washington Wizards. He formerly played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Boston Celtics. After playing his collegiate basketball at Oklahoma State University, Smart was drafted 6th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft. Smart is considered one of the best on-ball defenders in the NBA. Off the court, Smart is a philanthropist who created the 'Marcus Smart YounGameChanger Foundation.' His organization's mission is to provide families with seriously and chronically ill children with encouragement and life-changing experiences and to be a voice of motivation, empowerment, and encouragement to inner city young athletes to be game changers off the court or field.
