Maria Vadeeva is a professional basketball player for the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks. Vadeeva began her career playing in Russia for Sparta&K Moscow in the Russian Premier League. She then joined Dynamo Kursk in the Russian Premier League and Euroleague, winning a Euroleague title in 2017. Vadeeva was then drafted 11th overall by the Sparks in the 2018 WNBA Draft. Vadeeva has also been a member of the Russian national team since 2015 and is currently captain of the team.
