Mark-Anthony Kaye is a midfielder for the San Jose Earthquakes. He formerly played for the Colorado Rapids and still plays for the Canadian national team. The Toronto native played two seasons of college soccer at York University before joining the academy of Toronto FC in 2013. Mark continued his development in the USL for the following two years with Louisville City, where he was a USL Cup champion in 2017. In 2018, Mark was transferred to the MLS expansion team Los Angeles Football Club. Mark became a key piece in the middle of the park and won the 2019 Supporters’ Shield with LAFC, who immediately emerged as a marquee franchise in MLS. In July 2021, the Colorado Rapids made a blockbuster trade for Mark. Since then, he has remained an integral part of a Canadian national team’s rising to global relevance. Mark is set to represent his country - in his prime - at the 2022 World Cup. Off the pitch, Mark enjoys fashion, movies, coaching, and cooking.
