Mark Barron is a professional football player and safety who is currently a free agent in the NFL. Barron was drafted seventh overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after an illustrious career at the University of Alabama. Mark grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and attended St. Paul’s Episcopal School where he became the number one rated linebacker in the country as well as a state champion in track and field. He committed to Alabama over Auburn and LSU. While with the Crimson Tide, Barron was a 2x National Champion, 2x First Team All-American, and 3x All-SEC First-Team. In the NFL, Barron has played for four different teams and totaled over 700 tackles, and forced 15 turnovers.
