Mason Cole is an offensive lineman for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. Cole started 53 consecutive games for East Lake High School in his hometown of Tarpon Springs, Florida, earning an extremely impressive 22 scholarship offers. Coveted by the nation’s premier programs, Cole picked the University of Michigan and would go on to have a historic collegiate career. He enrolled early in January 2014, and later that year he became the first true freshman offensive lineman in school history to start a season opener on the offensive line. Cole was actually a left tackle for his first 25 games before transitioning to the middle in 2016. Cole started 51 total games for the Wolverines, tying the school record for players at all positions and setting the record for o-linemen. He was named to back-to-back All-Big Ten offensive second teams after the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Cole was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, and he started every game of his rookie season at center, as well as 14 games there in 2020. In March 2021, he was traded to the Vikings.
