Meagan is a thought leader at the intersection of Gen Z & innovation. She coined the term "Gen Z VC" in her 1st article and started the Gen Z VCs Slack community (now 23k+ strong) in November 2020, which has grown into a much larger movement centered around empowering the next generation of Gen Z innovators.

 

She has 70k followers & is featured in the 2022 Forbes 30-Under-30 Venture Capital list, as a LinkedIn 2022 Top Voice as one of the Top 10 Gen Z creators globally on the platform, and won the 2022 Rising Star Award from the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).

Meagan was the youngest & first Gen Z investor at Lerer Hippeau ($1.5Bn AUM) and General Atlantic ($80BN AUM), supporting portfolio companies on Gen Z innovation, marketing & GTM, impact (sustainability, mental health, etc.), community building, content-led storytelling, and more. Gen Z In The Metaverse

This keynote helps brands and executives understand how to approach the metaverse and ways Gen Z is engaging in digital worlds. Last year Meagan wrote her “Metaverse 101” 26-page manifesto, which went immediately viral and has been read by millions of people all over the world, specifically breaking down the metaverse from a Gen Z lens. Empowering Women In The Workplace

This is closer to a motivational speech vs. a thought leadership type of keynote! My story is threaded with themes of women empowerment -- between growing up as the oldest of 3 girls, to being raised by a mom who was the breadwinner & went back to get her MBA in her 50s, to my own personal story from transitioning as a scholar with Girls Who Invest to becoming an Advisory Board member, as well as having dinner with Warren Buffett in Omaha my freshman year of college as a part of Smart Woman Securities. This keynote is about leaning into a community of women and finding your own strength as a woman in the workplace.

Community Building 101

The key to building a great brand is community -- how are people organically spreading the word, building in incentivization structures, and ultimately monetizing. This keynote centers on how to build a strong community from scratch or ways to scale community through creativity.
