Michael Young is a former MLB infielder who played 14 seasons in the Major Leagues. Young spent the majority of his career with the Texas Rangers before playing 1 season with the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers. Over his 14 big league seasons, Young was a 7x All-Star, a 2008 Gold Glove Award winner, and the AL batting champion in 2005.

 

Since his retirement, Young has worked in the Texas Rangers front office as Special Assistant to the General Manager. In 2016, Young was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame. In 2019, Young's No. 10 was retired by the Rangers.
