Nick Wright is a prominent American sports broadcaster known for his dynamic presence on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). Since 2017, he has co-hosted FS1’s morning show First Things First, alongside Kevin Wildes and Chris Broussard, where he offers sharp analysis and passionate commentary on major sports topics. In addition to his television work, Wright hosts the podcast What’s Wright? With Nick Wright, co-hosted with his son, Damonza Byrd. Originally launched under Fox Sports in 2022, the podcast transitioned to Colin Cowherd’s The Volume network in early 2025, further expanding Wright’s influence in sports media. In October 2024, Wright solidified his role at FS1 by signing a long-term contract extension, positioning himself as a central figure in the network's future.
Wright's broadcasting career began in radio, with early roles at Kansas City's KCSP 610 AM and later at Houston's KILT 610 AM, where he co-hosted In the Loop with Nick and Lopez. His transition to television came in 2016 when he joined Fox Sports, contributing to various FS1 studio shows and frequently guest-hosting The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
