Ovie Oghoufo is an EDGE defender for the New York Giants. Ovie played college football for the Texas Longhorns before transferring to LSU for his final year. He went undrafted in 2024 but was quickly signed by the New York Giants. He came to Texas after two seasons at Notre Dame, where he played in 20 games while logging 22 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups. In his junior season as a Longhorn, he appeared in 12 games with 8 starts, while posting 42 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 pass breakups. By the end of the year, he earned an honorable mention Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
