Paul Perkins is an NFL running back. The Arizona native and Class of 2012 recruit attended Chandler High School, where he was also a track and field star, and committed to the UCLA football program in December 2017. Paul redshirted as a true freshman in 2012, started 4 games in 2013 and assumed a major role in the Bruins’ offense in 2014. He finished his redshirt sophomore season as the Pac-12 leader in rushing with 1,575 yards, which was also good for second most in UCLA history. Paul followed that up with a Second-team All-Pac 12 season in 2015 before deciding to move on to the NFL. Paul was selected by the New York Giants in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He made 25 appearances and 5 starts in two seasons with the Giants. He also played in 4 games for the Lions in 2019, and has been a part of the Jaguars, Ravens, and Colts practice squads in recent years. Paul is currently a free agent.
