Paulette Penzvalto is an engineering Program Manager responsible for building and managing Risk Ecosystem and Risk Data Platform planning and execution operating structure and processes. The Risk Data Platform is a Privacy, Safety, and Security (PSS) effort to develop a risk management framework that can be applied across Google services and infrastructure to identify, measure, and prioritize all aspects of risk from security, privacy, and safety risks.
Previously she worked in Android Privacy and Safety, where she was responsible for developing review tools for human agents and backend orchestration system for reviews of Android Applications getting published to the Play Store, detecting and removing harmful Android apps, making users safer and building trust in the ecosystem. She also drove OKRs to support configurable and scalable web platforms and infrastructure for Android App security, safety and privacy reviews.
Prior to that she was PgM for Google’s Reliability Infrastructure Organization, where she expanded Reliability Reset principles into a RelInfra Org and responsible for launching a VP led org infrastructure from the ground up. She developed a multi-year global Program Ops strategy for product/workforce development, reflecting digital world/distributed workforce, spearheading the GCP/TI OKRs process by designing/implementing Director level OKRs/reporting, Product Reviews and comms strategy.
She also spent four years in Corp Eng as the lead Engineering Program Manager for Google’s Corp Eng IT Services (CEIT) and developed a governance and operating model for a multidisciplinary rapid development service CEIT (FTE, TVC, SWE and UX). She pioneered a black-box development approach to optimizing TVC resources/vendor contract management/budget and chargeback structure, led project teams performing global enablement and development/deployment/SLAs/lifecycle support for 70+ complex business tools and managed strategy for portfolio for cross functional corporate partnerships and 200+ business stakeholders, consumers and vendors.
She was named 40 Under 40 for Silicon Valley Business Journal and she is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion, sits on the Google DLAB (Disabled Leaders Advisory Board), founded AutistX@Google and is the COO of the Google Disability Alliance. Paulette presents internationally as a keynote speaker on issues pertaining to Autism and Employment in tech and served on the San Francisco Mayor's Council for People with Disabilities.
She studied Computer Science while a student at Columbia University. Paulette also has two graduate degrees in Opera and this past season performed as Freia in Wagner’s Das Rheingold in Berlin. Last season she was a mainstage artist at Opera San Jose and sang on the album "Kirtan Lounge: Precious Jewels" which was on the Grammy Ballot for 6 Grammy Awards, including best foreign Language Album in 2021 and "Kirtan Lounge: Mystical Awakening" which was on the Grammy Ballot for Album of the Year in 2023.
