Peyton Hillis is a former NFL running back who played for the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New York Giants. Drafted in the 7th round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, Hillis initially started his career as a fullback before transitioning to running back after injuries to the Broncos' running back corps. Hillis rose to fame when he joined the Cleveland Browns, rushing for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 477 yards and two touchdowns receiving. As a result of his breakout season, Hillis was eventually named the cover athlete for Madden NFL 12, winning a nationwide vote for the game's cover athlete.
