Phil Gosselin is an American former professional baseball utility infielder, known for his versatility and pinch-hitting prowess during a 10-year MLB career from 2013 to 2022. A fifth-round pick by the Atlanta Braves in 2010, he debuted with them in 2013 and went on to play for seven teams, including the Diamondbacks, Phillies, Angels, Pirates, Rangers, and Reds. Gosselin hit .254 with 17 home runs, 103 RBIs, and 281 hits over 497 games. Notably, he led all MLB players in 2016 with 20 pinch hits and set a franchise record with the Arizona Diamondbacks. A University of Virginia standout, he was named First-Team All‑ACC and Third-Team All‑America, and holds the UVA single-season hits record (100). In February 2024, Gosselin transitioned to a non-playing role as a special assignment analyst for the Philadelphia Phillies.
