Book Ronald Griswell

Ron Griswell, aka Ronald V. E. Griswell, is an American activist focused on exposing diverse minorities to nature and outdoor life. He is known for promoting the intersection of blackness and the outdoors to inspire other minority millennials to explore the outdoors. Griswell graduated from North Carolina A&T State University and is the founder of a non-profit to connect students at America’s historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to outdoor experiences called HBCUs Outside and Boyz in the Wood. His work creates positive representation and allows for students to live beyond their comfort zone, follow their curiosities, and share in collective joy & healing.
