Tom Haberstroh is the national NBA Insider for Meadowlark Media. He previously held similar positions for NBC Sports and ESPN. As the host of The Habershow podcast and the analytically-focused BIG Number digital video series, he contributed regularly to the NBC Sports Regionals TV broadcasts for 7 NBA teams and wrote a weekly column for NBCSports.com. Haberstroh began his career at ESPN where he worked for 8 years as an analytically-driven staff writer for ESPN the Magazine, ESPN Insider, and ESPN.com. He made regular TV appearances on SportsCenter, Outside the Lines, and The Jump with Rachel Nichols. In 2017, he joined Bleacher Report and B/R Mag where he won an APSE award for feature writing on the NBA. He is the co-owner of the Count The Dings podcast network and co-host of the Pack Your Knives, a hobby-turned-podcast about Top Chef. After six years in Miami Beach, Tom currently lives in Charlotte with his wife, 2-year-old daughter, and dog Cooper. In 2017, he launched #ALSPepperChallenge which has raised over $650,000 for ALS research in honor of his mother.
