A former NFL running back who played 11 seasons. From Western Pennsylvania, Dorsett attended the nearby University of Pittsburgh, where he led the Panthers to the national title as a senior in 1976 and won the Heisman Trophy. He was the first-round draft choice of the Cowboys in 1977, the second overall selection. Dorsett was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Super Bowl Champion, 4x Pro bowler, 3x All-Pro, and a member of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the College Football Hall of Fame.
