Zach Thomas is a former American college and professional linebacker. After being recognized as an All-American during his time playing for Texas Tech University, Thomas was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 5th round of the 1996 NFL Draft. Thomas spent 12 years playing for the Dolphins before signing short-term contracts with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 and Kansas City Chiefs in 2009 ultimately retiring from the league in 2010. In addition to being a 7x Pro Bowl, 5x First-team All-Pro, and 2x Second-team All-Pro selection, Thomas also has more tackles than any linebacker in the Hall of Fame.
