Immanual Joseph is a high school science teacher at the Student Opportunity Center, Frisco, Texas which supports at-risk students of the Frisco Independent School District. He is also the founder of Compassionleaders, dedicated to promoting the possibility and tools for compassionate workplaces. In his previous journeys, Immanual has worked as a cancer drug discovery scientist, founder of an in-home senior care business and as life-coach - all roles which he has performed with excellence.
Immanual created the 9-pillars of compassion framework for creating human workplaces that thrive. His book, The Fifth Revolution, details compassion practices that can change organizations inside-out. Immanual has been invited to present his ideas on compassion as talks and compassion-hackathons in organizations including Salesforce, HSBC, Amazon, Toyota and Box among others. Immanual was recently invited to share his ideas in the form of two TEDx talks, one on the topic of compassionate leadership and the other on creating a brighter world through microcompassion.
Immanual is a bilingual author and has 7 books in two languages. He is a passionate content creator. Immanual created a 13 hour interactive e-learning course with more than 130 videos called The Compassion Advantage Course. He is currently creating a bite-sized high impact compassion learning program for full-on organizational transformation.
Immanual obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He has four first author publications in high impact journals, an invited book chapter, and invited talks. He also has a Certified Professional Coach certification through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching.
