I was born 6 weeks early and my parents were told I was not going to make it through the night, but I fought and made it. At 15 months old I had both of my legs amputated because I did not have shinbones or knees but I did not let that hold me back! At 5 years old I received my first set of running legs and ran track before I found my love of swimming. In 2016 I went to the Paralympic Time Trials and am a hopeful for the 2020 Japan Paralympic Games. I have shared my story with many and have shown that anything is possible if you have Positivity and an I Can attitude or a term I have coined, PosICan.
